A CLEAR ASSERTIVE REFUSAL IS ALWAYS BETTER THAN FALSE PROMISE !!

We all most often confront situations where the appropriate response is to say "NO" in response to someone's request. Just a few days back one of my clients told me that he was facing sever financial crisis because of betrayal of one of his friends to whom he had given a handsome amount on his request. His friend promised to return the amount within a week but now he is denying to pay back the money. This betrayal of his friend put the client in sever financial crises. Though looking at amount being asked was very high for the client but his inability to say "NO" very clearly, now he is in depression and in need of counseling. Off course we all have an option to say " NO" when we shall say so ,this clear refusal must be an assertive response.

Secondly ,we must take care of not making false promise when we find ourselves not able to fulfill the demand . Instead we shall use clear assertive refusal .This will surely save us from lots of pre- and post- stresses. Moreover, an assertive clear refusal will save our relationships also.

So, TRAIN YOUR MIND to remain in positive orientation of adopting the habit of assertively saying " NO" when we shall say so instead of making false promise. I am sure this habit will save you from pre - and post ' stressed conditions and that too at the cost of loosing vital relationships.
